WATER: In Its Fourth Phase, the poetic state

An exploration into the agency of matter (specifically water) and the cultural influence of biblical theology on the imagination.

A sound installation created in collaboration with musicians (see below). Seated in the central pews, listeners are greeted by a light that obscures visual expectations. From a surround sound system, individual musical expressions play. These have been inspired by biblical representations of the element water - using this culturally significant text as a key to the poetic understandings of matter.
